Sly Johnson - Amphithéâtre, concert grand public
Soul voice, Hip-hop heart, beat-box champ, Sly Johnson is a staple! Author, composer, and interpreter of the “Saïpan Supa Crew”, the artist has since then conducted many collaborations (Camille, Erik Truffaz, Oxmo Pucino, Ayo, Lucky Peterson, Jacky Terrasson...). Nowadays, he is recording a new album with Renaud Létang (Manu Chao, Oxmo Puccino, Lianne La Havas, Feist...). On stage, Sly Johnson associates his machines to the heat and sound of the keyboard (Laurent Coulondre), the guitar (Ralph Lavital), the bass (Laurent Salzard) and the drum (Martin Wangermée). The result is here: an abrasive groove, a rich music, at the cross between hip-hop and funk! Regular on stage, he generously invites the spectators to join him in his world. A delightful performance!
