Jammin'Juan en quelques mots...
Created out of a desire to help young jazz artists get the attention of professionals, Jammin’Juan gives over 30 selected groups the opportunity to perform in front of a savvy audience...
The purpose of this professional event is to bring together festival organisers, theatre and club managers, talent agents, music labels, and media to get to know these emerging artists...
Jammin’Juan is four days of jazz on two showcase stages and one main stage.
It is also an opportunity to meet and talk in a friendly setting.
The showcases and concerts* are also open to the general public, limited to available seats.
Each showcase lasts 35 minutes. An entry ticket gives you access to the seven showcases held that day, which take place between 2:00 pm and 7:15 pm.
The evening concerts start at 9:00 pm and present two ensembles on the theatre’s stage.
New in 2019: Saturday 26 October is dedicated to ‘big bands.’ On the theatre’s stage, two big bands will perform in the afternoon and two more in the evening.
