From an early age, Fanou Torracinta has rubbed shoulders with the best musicians of the genre, who often passed through Corsica – his native island – to play in summer festivals. He passionately immersed himself in their performances, ultimately to his discovery of the gypsy-jazz sounds of Django Reinhardt’s music.

This new band was formed in 2019, alongside William Brunard, Bastien Brison and Benji Winterstein. Composition is increasingly present in this guitarist who released a new album in 2021, entitled Gipsy Guitar from Corsica. In this, we find a rather personal repertoire that brings together his Corsican and Gypsy influences.
