Awa Ly is a jazz-soul singer of Senegalese origin, blending French, Italian and American influences in a unique spiritual journey. Her career spans from the Cannes Film Festival to touring with the legendary Pino Daniele and collaborations with Norah Jones and Lou Reed.
Following the success of Five And a Feather and Safe And Sound, she is set to release her third album, Essence And Elements (May 2025). This new album explores the four elements through the work of four distinct producers, including Grammy nominee Hannah V and Lossapardo, and invites listeners to immerse themselves in nature through their senses. With over a hundred international concerts under her belt, she continues to bridge cultures, from Paris to festivals such as Cosmojazz and Mawazine. Her lyrics and captivating voice define an artist in perpetual motion, rooted in the essential.
