Apply to a showcase from March 29th to April 15th, 2024
The 7th edition of the market for Jazz professionals will take place at the Conference Centre of Juan-les-Pins (France – Côte d’Azur), from November Wednesday 6th to Friday 8th 2024.
The aim of this event is to promote european emerging jazz bands.
Jammin’Juan is a human-size event where the development of exchanges and relations are privileged and for this purpose the following aspects are organised : a dinner buffet with free placement for the professionals and musicians, a daily break in the bar area to allow exchanges, different activities are organised on the mornings and the evening Jam’Session.
6 showcases (last 35 min) will take place each day between 2 pm and 7 pm. Each day will finish with a Jam Session, open to everybody.
17 bands will be selected (1 showcase being reserved for one Jazz Migration winner).
Applications are closed. We thank the 170 bands who sent us their applications. The results will be communicated individually before mid-June.
L’Union Nationale des Auteurs et Compositeurs (The National Union of Authors and Composers) is a professional organisation created in 1959 for the defense of all the moral and professional rights and interests of the Authors Members of Sacem.
UNAC is part of the ecosystem of professional organisations of Authors, Composers and Directors and collaborates with the Syndicat National des Auteurs et des Compositeurs (SNAC), the Union des Compositeurs de Musiques de Films (UCMF), the Union des professionnels de Doublage (UPAD), the Chamber of Music Publishers (CSDEM) and the Guilde des Auteurs Réalisateurs de Reportages et de Documentaires (GARRD).
A thousand active members have joined UNAC since 1951.
Through the UNAC Grand Prix Academy, created in 1974, composed of 200 members among the most prominent creators in the field of musical creation (from Charles AZNAVOUR to SOPRANO), UNAC wants to promote a French excellence in writing and composition.
Last year, the Unac presented two Grand Prix at Jammin’Juan: the Grand-Prix carrière to Thomas de Pourquery and the Grand-Prix révélation to Adrien Brandeis.
