Simon Girard – trombone / Léo Ouillon – tenor saxophone / Yann Paulet – alto and baritone saxophones / Nicolas Mondon – guitar / Thomas Pierre – drums / Nans Paulet – tuba

Project : Animal boisé (3rd album)

Buck is an explosive jazz sextet offering panoramic, cross-genre music: psychedelic jazz with rock-like energy, where contemplation gives way to radical wildness.

Comprising, in turn, daydreams, astral projections and all manner of creatures from the cosmic bestiary, this new album explores, across nine tracks, what the stag (the animal that gives the band its name) represents and symbolises in the group’s musical approach.

“On stage, Buck undoubtedly takes the audience on a liberating journey that stirs both the mind and the gut.” – FIP

“This band brings together the cream of the global music scene. The very best of experimental groove” – Radio NOVA
