Adèle Viret quartet

Adèle Viret quartet à Jammin'Juan le 6 novembre

Adèle Viret – cello
Oscar Viret – trumpet
Wajdi Riahi – piano
Pierre Hurty – drums

To compose the essence of this first adventure in quartet, Adèle Viret chose to return to the piano of her childhood, celebrating the ordinary, the customary. From this spontaneous impulse, she wove a framework in which to blend her cello with the voices of three dear musicians. It unfolds in a chamber-like atmosphere, where the sharing of roles, relays, and permutations are as indispensable as a generous dose of mischief and audacity. We navigate tenderly between horizons that seem bathed in Mediterranean shores and others where the sky becomes more uncertain, perhaps stormy. And amidst the bursts, echoes of tides, vast spaces, and youthful rolling resound within us!
