Originally from Germany and based in France since 2011, the saxophonist, singer and composer is back with ONE, a first album under her name after numerous collaborations (Michel Benita, Andy Sheppard, Manu Dibango, Cheik Tidiane Seck, Paco Sery, Nguyên Lê…). She was the winner of the Selmer Soloist Prize and is sponsored by the Vandoren and Kölbl brands.
Nora Kamm puts her virtuosity at the service of emotion, playing with the plasticity of the saxophone to take it out of its usual practices, keen to make it sing like so many human voices united. His playing, combining lyricism and energy, touches the heart: this music is carried by love and song.
On stage Nora Kamm is surrounded by a team of high-level multicultural musicians. His live band seduces with a deep and catchy groove. It’s almost impossible to listen to this band live without dancing.
