Bassist, composer and producer based in Amsterdam, Arin was born in 1992 to an Armenian family in Tehran-Iran.
His enthusiasm for music developed at an early age with classical guitar and soon after he found his passion for bass guitar. He graduated from Tehran University of Arts with a Bachelor in Classical Double Bass before moving to the Netherlands to complete a Masters degree in Jazz Bass Guitar at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam .
Arin is known both as a solo artist as well as a multi-style session player with a versatile and diverse skillset. This musical diversity comes from his extensive experience in working with international musicians & artists from across the world, contributing to projects in a wide range of genres such as jazz, fusion,pop, rock, classical and flamenco as well as Iranian and Armenian folk. These collaborations have played a crucial role in developing the unique sound he is now known for.
He also serves as the Artistic Director of the renowned Marmoucha Orchestra in Amsterdam, while also passionately engaged as a composer and arranger.
In 2015, Arin began directing his own band under “Arin Keshishi Project”, producing jazz/fusion music in collaboration with International artists and released his debuted album “Self-Reflection” in 2023.
