Bram de Looze – piano

Pianist Bram De Looze feels most at home behind his piano, where he explores new musical paths and perspectives. Alongside projects such as MiXMONK and Vice Versa, he has built a remarkable solo career. This journey began in 2016 with ‘Piano e Forte’, an album centred around three historic pianofortes. Two further albums followed in 2018 and 2020, with ‘Colour Talk’ exploring the piano design conceived by architect Rafael Viñoly. Bram De Looze is currently working on his fifth album.

For Bram, playing music and improvising is, and will remain, a constantly evolving process, fuelled by spontaneous moments spent at the piano and intimately linked to all other aspects of his life. As he grows, matures, finds his balance as a young father and a man in his thirties, and takes on new responsibilities, his music evolves with him.
