A jazz trumpeter with hip hop and r’n’b influences.
After several years on international stages and TV and radio programmes as a sideman (Montreal Jazz Festival, Stagecoach, Fillmore West, Conan, KEXP, etc.), daoud, the French-Moroccan trumpeter, has returned to France to develop his own project. Through several collaborations with various artists, such as NoJazz, Kacem Wapalek, Pokey Lafarge, Slim Paul and Tonina, this artist has masterfully constructed his own musical universe.
An energetic quintet with hip hop, r’n’b and jazz influences, the trumpeter takes his inspiration from artists like Theo Croker, Christian Scott or Keyon Harrold. daoud surrounds himself with rising stars from the French scene in order to present original compositions and instrumental covers in their best light.
